Do you think the fear of death is irrational in the mind?

Fear of death is indeed irrational as you rightly argue that it being inevitable should rationally be prepared for rather than be feared..... it is actually instinctive in order to protect the life... it is not what we choose to have... it is given to us by Nature as the first principle of survival and preservation of self. Fear of death is necessary to avoid untimely death!!
