Nationalism is rampant in the US. Agree or disagree?

Agreed. American school children are taught to love their country from an early age. "Nationalism" is the correct term for this. But many Americans prefer to use the term "patriotism" because the term "nationalist" has sinister connotations (ie. Nationalist Socialist).
